The pros of this grinder are that it grinds consistently and is quiet. It is great that the hopper is not plastic and made of glass instead. It comes with a lid that is airtight so your beans can be stored for days and remain fresh. This grinder is simple to function, solid and rugged and basically well worth the money. The controls are easy to turn because they are large and clearly up front and the toggle switch is convenient.
The cons to the KitchenAid Pro Line Series Burr Coffee Mill are it is a little bulky looking but this is due to it being so solid and heavy duty. The receiving bowl is a little fragile and after you remove the glass bin, your grounds fall on the base plate. This unit is a little expensive, but again, well worth the money invested.
