Raking leaves is a huge hassle however packaging up the leaves and disposing of them is even more so. Over the years leaf shredders have become increasingly popular since they not only significantly decrease the amount of bags and space taken up by the leaves, but they also make it a lot easier to turn those nutrient rich leaves into a valuable compost.
For those of you looking at leaf shredders and don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars for one, then check out the Flowtron LE-900 Ultimate Mulcher Electric Leaf Shredder.
This Flowtron leaf shredder is the perfect solution for anyone. With various settings this leaf shredder allows you to create mulch out of grass, leaves (both wet and dry), and even pine needles. It even allows you to pick how coarse or fine you would like your shredded materials to be!
When you receive your new leaf shredder you’ll be surprised at how simple it is to set up – barely wasting any time assembling it you can be off out in your yard mulching away in minutes. And using this machine is simple! You simply attach the legs to it, set it over a bag or garbage can, and insert the leaves – the double heavy-duty cutting lines do the rest for you!

Final Analysis
The Flowtron LE-900 Electric Leaf Shredder is a good leaf shredder for the price. Many of the unsatisfactory reviews that are about this product are because people don’t understand the limitations of the $150 shredder. You can’t find a commercial grade leaf shredder for this price which is what many are expecting when they buy it.
The Flowtron shredder does a great job on leaves (no sticks of course) and it does a fair job of shredding up damp leaves as well though if it just rained you should probably wait a day or so before raking anyways.
Overall a good shredder for the price but if you want something more capable you will have to spend more for it.
